Emergencies
The International Medical Centre has
an English speaking general practitioner on call at all times,
twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
This is a direct line to the doctor, not a connection to a call
centre.
Dial 648-017-121 and be connected directly to the doctor for
advice, or, if required, a home visit.
It must be understood that this line is for genuine emergencies
only.
Non-emergencies calls should be made to telephone number:
965-790-514 during surgery
hours Monday to Friday 9am - 7pm (excluding holidays and local
fiestas), & Saturday 9am – 1pm.
A real emergency would include; a persistent high fever in a
child, vomiting or diarrhoea, especially in a child, burns,
bites or falls.
If you have private medical insurance, English or Spanish, you
should call the emergency number provided in your policy
document.
Some sorts of emergencies may require
intervention or hospitalisation, such as, chest pain, broken
limbs or serious accidents. In such a case dial 112
for multi-language operators who can send an ambulance. |
